Halloween 2020 had to be a little different from years past. IN Connected Marketing wanted to create some solutions for trick or treating during the pandemic and pitch those ideas to Mars.
My concept was titled “The Great Halloween Hunt” and focused on the idea of an AR experience for kids to replace traditional trick or treating. Our pitch included the development of an interface where kids could search for and capture a series of illustrated/animated monsters with unique names and personalities. AR experience could be outside or in-store with dedicated retailers.
Once kids collected enough monsters in the interface they could exchange them for candy using contactless vending machines, decked out with monsters.
(Note: I personally hand-illustrated all of these monsters.)
