48 HR Repackaging: Peanut Butter

Our team of three designers (Barron Biros, Sarah Kim, and myself) tackled the task of repackaging Smucker’s peanut butter into a reusable or eco-friendly container in a short 48 hours. We came up with a container, made from 100% recyclable plastic, that could be repurposed to carry the very product peanut butter is so often associated with: the peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Our team also rebranded Smucker’s natural chunky peanut butter in the process. The result won us first place in the IOPP Southeast Conference’s 48 Repack Competition and a $1000 grand prize!
